Author's Notes[]
“ | Outside of the occasional autobiography, we typically only hear about spies when they fail. When they do their jobs flawlessly, leaving no traces behind, there are no public records of their deeds at all. Spying is an occupation where you're only recognized when you fail—I couldn't handle that. I'm the type that wants to be lavished with praise! |
” |
“ | Now that the manga is being serialized, I'm stuck at home all day and getting sick of it. I want to go somewhere. I want to explore the great outdoors. I want to be reborn on another world. Anyway, I hope you'll buy volume 4. | ” |

“ | This is the second extra mission created for publication in Weekly Shonen Jump. We put a lot of effort into it, so I asked to have it included here. Our goal was to do something a little different from the previous one and to make it approachable for first-time readers. Accomplishing both those things at once proved challenging. I made the title page red to give it a different mood. Aren't sidecars weirdly adorable? | ” |

Trivia[]
- In Volume 3's cover art, Yor Forger is seated on a La Chaise designed by Charles and Ray Eames.
- Due to a translation error, the back cover of the English version of Volume 3 incorrectly labeled Yuri Briar as Yor's older brother when in fact he is her younger brother. This was later fixed before the volume was released.
- In the English version of Key Person Page, Becky's surname is written incorrectly as "Blackwell" instead of "Blackbell." This error continues in the subsequent volumes, but it is fixed starting from Volume 10.
- At 1:07 in the anime's first opening, there is a brief colorful sequence of Yor in multiple outfits. Three of the outfits she wears are directly from the "Yor's 1 Week Coordinate" bonus page in this volume. The outfits animated are Days 2, 3 and 4.
- Related to the above, some of Yor's promotional art for the anime's premiere features her in the Day 1 outfit.
- In the anime, Yuri is shown to have photos of Yor wearing the Day 2, 3 and 6 outfits inside his locker.[2][3]
