Summary[]

The Forgers are on the rooftop of the department store, where Anya sees large electric plush animal rides and tells Loid she wants to ride the panda one. Loid, in his endless thoughts, thinks about how pointless the rides are, but decides to let Anya go on it after she begins to cry, and Yor suggests letting her go. Loid and Yor then watch Anya slowly move around the animal ride. After Anya finishes, she says she wants to ride it again, and Loid thinks about how he cannot understand children.

Later, Anya sees people at the ocean on TV and says she wants to go there. Loid compromises by taking her to the pool. While Anya initially has fun, she hears the thoughts of other kids peeing in the pool, much to her shock and disgust. At home, Anya surprises her parents after telling them she never wants to go to the pool again, and Loid is once again confused.

Author's Notes[]

It's been suggested that spying is the world's second-oldest profession. As both perpetrators and victims of deception, spies have colored human history with their lies.
I myself spread misinformation on a daily basis, such as when I tell my editor, "I'll get those pages in to you today for sure!"

And just like that, we're already at volume 2. Every day I blanch at how quickly time flows. Volume 3 will probably be here before I know it too, and I hope we'll meet again there.
Tatsuya Endo (Special Thanks List)

I was fortunate enough to have the "Extra Mission" that follows published as a one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump. We put a lot of effort into it, so I asked to have it included here too.
The story was designed as an introduction to the series for readers who were not familiar with the manga from its run on Shonen Jump+. It was published in July, so we basically ignored the seasonal time frame of the series and tried to make it feel a little more summery.
