Summary[]
To commemorate the release of the manga's tenth volume, Franky decides to hold a party with the Forgers. Loid criticizes Franky for breaking the fourth wall, but Franky brushes it off. As Franky and the family celebrate, Loid comes to the harrowing realization that Anya has only earned a single Stella Star in ten volumes. Worried that it will take 80 volumes for Anya to become an Imperial Scholar at this rate, Loid begins to panic. Loid tries to calm down by reminding himself that three months have passed in their-world time and that spy missions typically last for years, but begins questioning the existence of him and his volume self. Franky and Anya watch Loid's inner conflict and comment on how serious he is, then continue to have their party anyway.
Author's Notes[]
“ | It's volume 10. My first time making it to the double digits! | ” |
“ | I can't believe we're at volume 10 already. It's been three and a half years since the manga began, and I'm still in a frantic state as I try to finish each chapter. It hasn't settled into a stable pace at all! Thanks to the anime, there are now more opportunities for people to discover SPY x FAMILY. I'm so grateful to see my work in so many new places. I hope everyone enjoys the second season of the anime as well as the manga! |
