Shōnen Jump+ 10th Anniversary was a special event celebrating the tenth anniversary of Shōnen Jump+, a manga platform created by Shueisha that SPY x FAMILY and other popular series are serialized on. There were various projects to commemorate this milestone.

Shōnen Jump+, a manga magazine app that launched on September 22, 2014, celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024 with the support of many manga artists and readers.

On September 22, 2024, the official Shōnen Jump+ Twitter account made several announcements for 10 major projects to commemorate its 10th anniversary. On the same day, a special website for the event was released.

The anniversary's official slogan is "New Day, New Story."

Projects[]

Project 1: Shōnen Jump+ Exhibition[]

In its first-ever exhibition, Shōnen Jump+ brought together all of its works for the Shōnen Jump+ Exhibition (少年ジャンプ+展, Shōnen Janpu+ Ten?). It was first announced on December 13, 2024, and was held from April 18 to May 18, 2025, in Warehouse Terrada G1 Building, Tokyo, Japan.

The exhibition aims to allow visitors to experience Shōnen Jump+ in a variety of forms, including illustration exhibits, videos, and 3-D artwork. The exhibition features works that represent its past 10 years, such as SPY x FAMILY, Kaiju No. 8, and Dandadan, which fully present the appeal of Shōnen Jump+, so don't miss this unique opportunity for the 10th anniversary of the magazine. Several original goods commemorating the exhibition were also on sale at the venue.

The key visuals drawn by 11 Shōnen Jump+ serialization artists were unveiled for this exhibition. The party-attired characters wore red, the key color of Shōnen Jump+. The first key visual, featuring Anya Forger and drawn by Tatsuya Endo, was released on December 15, 2024:

Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 1 Welcome Visual: The entrance was decorated with a huge visual created specifically for the exhibition, with dressed-up characters welcoming all visitors.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 2 Jump+ Exhibition Special Theater: The first area of the exhibition, which featured an impressive video on a giant theater screen displaying a large collection of Jump+ works.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 3 Jump+ Road: A collection of famous scenes from the first chapters of Jump+ works. Jump into the world of manga and experience the excitement of the exhibition starting in earnest.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 4 SPY x FAMILY Area: An area where visitors could experience the world of SPY x FAMILY in Anya's size. Various materials from the manga were on display, as well as new Q&A comments from Tatsuya Endo. There was also a spot where visitors can take photos with Anya and her friends in the classrooms of Eden Academy.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 5 Jump+ Character Walk: A collection of illustrations from popular Jump+ works drawn specifically for the exhibition. Travel alongside life-sized drawings of the characters.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 6 Jump+ Quotes Wall: This area was a collection of memorable quotes from Jump+ works. There were a variety of lines, from passionate, tear-jerking, and comedic lines.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 7 Jump+ God Wall: This was an area for "best chapters," which were selected based on the large number of comments received on the works.
Jump+ 10th Anniversary Exhibition Highlights 8 Great! Wall: This was an area where visitors could place "Ii Jan!" ("It's Good!") rating stickers on their favorite works and share their thoughts.

Campaigns[]

Poster Giveaway Campaign[]

To commemorate the opening of the exhibition's official Twitter account, there was a giveaway for a B2 poster of the exhibition, which was gifted to 10 lucky winners. To participate in the giveaway, participants had to follow the account and repost the target post from December 13 to December 23, 2024.[1]

During Jump Festa 2025 from December 21 to December 22, 2024, all visitors could also receive the same poster:

11-day Consecutive Campaign[]

In anticipation of the exhibition's opening, from February 6 to February 16, 2025, Jump+ Exhibition held a consecutive 11-day campaign in Japan. 10 randomly selected acrylic keychains from each of the 11 most popular Jump+ works from the Jump+365 store were given away to 5 lucky winners, with a total of 55 winners by the end of the campaign. Participants had to follow the exhibition's official Twitter account and repost their target post for a chance to win. Prizes are scheduled to be shipped in late April 2025.

The first campaign was for SPY x FAMILY. The application period was from February 6 to February 13, 2025.[2]

Invitation Campaign[]

From March 3 to March 9, 2025, an invitation campaign to the exhibition via lottery was held. To apply, participants had to follow the exhibition's official Twitter account and repost their target post for a chance to win. 20 winners grouped in 10 pairs were invited to the exhibition from April 20 to May 18, 2025.

Heartfelt Thanks for the Great Success! Campaign[]

From April 18 to May 1, 2025, there was a giveaway to commemorate the success of the exhibition's opening. The rewards were special acrylic stands, which were gifted to 210 lucky winners (a total of 21 titles, 10 winners in each). To participate in the giveaway, participants had to follow the official Twitter account, write their impressions of the exhibition and the name of the desired work, and then quote and repost the target post.

From May 2 to May 18, 2025, a second round was held. The rewards were framed digital prints of the original works that were displayed at the exhibition, which were gifted to 23 lucky winners. To participate in the giveaway, participants had to follow the same instructions from the previous round.

Ticket Sales[]

The exhibition's first advance lottery sales ran from January 15 to January 26, 2025. The second advance lottery sales ran from February 12 to February 24, 2025. General sales began on March 10, 2025. There were two types of tickets being sold: a standard ticket and a special ticket that comes with bonus goods.

Сommemorative Ticket[]

The goods included with the special ticket are a commemorative ticket and a clear card set. The latter included 12 clear cards designed with the exhibition's key visuals and a mount to store them in.

Visitor Benefits[]

During the exhibition period, cards with a limited design for the event using illustrations from Shōnen Jump+ serialized works were distributed to visitors. Two types of cards (one that changed weekly and one random) were handed out per ticket at the venue during the exhibition period. There were 28 types in total, consisting of 4 that changed weekly and 24 random.

From June 27 to July 14, 2025, some goods were available for pre-order on the online Jump Character Store.

Project 2: Manga Award[]

To commemorate the 10th anniversary, the "Shōnen Jump+ 10th Anniversary Manga Award" was held. The event's goal was to support future artists who "make the most exciting magazine." The total prize money was over 10 million yen ($70,000 US). The Grand Prize winner received 3 million yen, the honorable mention winner received 300 thousand yen, the 10 winners of the "Senseis' Category" each received 1 million yen, and the winner of the Teen Prize received 200 thousand yen.

10 popular serialized manga authors served as the event's judges and awarded the works they found the most interesting with a prize in their respective categories named after them. These authors were:

From September 25, 2024, to January 31, 2025, participants could submit up to five works. Submissions could be accepted via the Jump Rookie app, an online form, or by directly mailing it to Shōnen Jump+'s editorial department. The results of the winners were announced on May 27, 2024.

Project 3: Anniversary Movie[]

On September 22, 2024, a special movie celebrating the anniversary was released.

Project 4: One-shot Volumes[]

Four volumes in a series called One-shot Collection, which includes 20 overall one-shots published on Jump+, were released simultaneously on January 4, 2025.

Project 5: Yomikiri Discovery[]

On October 16, 2024, "Yomikiri Discovery" (読切ディスカバリー, Yomikiri Disukabarī?, lit. One-shot Discovery) was launched. It is a special website created to re-introduce over 1,000 of Jump+'s one-shots from the past 10 years, between September 2014 and the end of August 2024.[note 1]

On the website, there are two rankings for Shōnen Jump+ one-shots for every year: "View Count Ranking" and "Good Jump Rate Ranking." The website also includes special interviews with Japanese celebrities discussing their favorite Jump+ one-shots. Additionally, there is a recommendation section where other celebrities choose their favorite one-shots based on a specific theme.

On a related website, "All Favorite Jump+ One-shots Generator" (歴代ジャンプラ推し読切ジェネレーター, Rekidai Janpura Oshi Yomikiri Jenerētā?), users can pick their top 3 one-shots from Jump+ (between September 2014 and the end of August 2024) and share them online.

Project 6: Jump+ Radio[]

Jump+ Radio was a radio show where manga-loving voice actor Toshiki Masuda talked passionately about manga with various guests, including Jump+ writers and editors. The show ran from October 6, 2024, to March 30, 2025.

Project 7: Jump+365[]

Jump+365 was a limited-time POP UP campaign to celebrate the new start of Shōnen Jump+ as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. In commemoration of the fact that new manga is updated every day of the year, each person received 1 of 365 original acrylic keychains (365 types in total) with a motif of the 52 works currently being serialized in Shōnen Jump+.

A large image of Anya from SPY x FAMILY was featured on the building's facade. The campaign was held from October 17 to October 28, 2024, at ZeroBase Omotesando in Minato City, Tokyo, Japan.

Project 8: Goods[]

During Jump Festa 2025, visitors received original stickers to commemorate the 10th anniversary. This special B5 sticker sheet was available from December 21 to December 22, 2024:

Jump+ Fair[]

More goods were sold at the "Jump+ Fair" event at Jump Shop stores in Japan from January 17 to January 26, 2025:

POP UP Shop[]

From February 21 to March 6, 2025, a POP UP shop featuring new original illustrations from four popular Jump+ works was open at Ichiban Plaza in Tokyo, Japan. The featured works were SPY x FAMILY, Dandadan, Kaiju No. 8, and 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess.

Goods based on the original illustrations were sold at the event.


In addition, eight types of stickers based on the characters from four Jump+ works were distributed randomly for every purchase of ¥2,200 or over. Quantities were limited.

Project 9: Free Release Campaign[]

From October 9 to October 18, 2024, Shōnen Jump+ ran a one-day free release campaign in which over 20 titles had all of its chapters available to read for free on the platform, including SPY x FAMILY.

In celebration of the anniversary and the announcement of the production for the SPY x FAMILY anime's third season, all chapters of the SPY x FAMILY manga (except the Extra Missions and one-shots) were available for free on the Shōnen Jump+ website for 24 hours on October 16, 2024.[3]

Project 10: Author Reward Campaign[]

From September 22 to October 13, 2024, readers could support the authors on Jump+ in a special campaign. During the campaign period, if readers pressed a "Watch a video ad and support the author!" button that appeared at the end of each chapter in an original serialization under Shōnen Jump+ and watched an advertisement, a portion of the advertising sales would be returned to the author of the series.

One-shot Anime Adaptations[]

On May 18, 2025, it was announced that a number of outstanding one-shots published in Jump+ would be animated by talented animation studios. The involved studios were revealed to be WIT STUDIO, Production I.G, and Contrail. More information will be revealed in the future on Jump+.[4]

Promotion[]

On September 23, 2024, advertisements commemorating the anniversary were on display at three railway stations in Tokyo for a limited time. The ads at the JR Shibuya and Ikebukuro Stations were displayed until September 29, 2024, while the ads at Shinjuku Station were on display until October 6, 2024.
