Gameplay[]
SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories’s gameplay mainly focuses on taking photos of Anya's daily life. In the game, players take control of Anya and work toward completing her photo diary. Photos are taken at school, at home, and at various outing locations. Photos are taken by interacting with "Super Cool!" items in the area, which lead to a special scene where Anya's actions can be photographed. When photo-taking, players can move and adjust the camera's focus, angle, and zoom. After taking photos, players earn "Eurekas," points used to play the minigames. By getting a good rating for the focus, angle, and timing of the photo, extra Eureka points are earned. Two photos can be taken at school, while only one can be taken at home after returning from school. Photos are placed in the "Memories of Fun Times" photo album and can be replaced with newer ones if desired. The game is completed after Anya takes pictures of all the special "Super Cool!" items from each outing.
Outing destinations are decided by the player. There are 10 locations unlocked in the following order: the fountain plaza, town, aquarium, dog park, beach, sports ground, museum, resort, hotel, and castle. On these outings, players must take a photo of the three unique outing items for that location in order to unlock the special "Super Cool!" item. Only two pictures can be taken during outings, after which the Forgers leave. Once returning home from their outing, the Forgers choose their next location.
The game runs on a four-day cycle, with the final day being the outing. On the regular days, Anya starts her morning at home, goes to school, returns home, has dinner, then goes to bed. This schedule repeats until the fourth day. At school and under Henry Henderson's supervision, Anya attends her homeroom lecture, physical education, or art class. When returning home, special events may occur with Yuri or Fiona visiting. At school and home, Anya can interact with familiar characters, which has a chance to excite her mood. After dinner, Anya writes about her experiences of today's adventure in her diary in the form of the minigames. 100 "Eurekas" are spent to play one minigame or "relive the memory" and earn "Play Points" (abbreviated as "PP").
The in-game store includes outing items and the various outfits for the Forgers. All items in the store are purchased with "Play Points." Some outfits are unlocked through raffle boxes, which players can visit during their outing days. More raffle boxes are unlocked as players progress through the game and unlock more outing destinations. Players earn raffle tickets as they complete various missions in the game. The Forgers' wardrobe has over 80 unique items for outfits, accessories, and hairstyles. Some outfits have special effects that can help players earn more "Eurekas" and "Play Points," increase Anya's excitement rate or movement speed, discount the outfit prices by a certain percentage, or increase the chances of winning the raffle.
Minigames[]
Players can play 15 different minigames, both inspired by the anime series and originally designed for the game. 10 of these minigames can be played offline with two players. At the start of the game, most minigames are locked until players unlock new outing destinations. Every minigame has three difficulties: Peanut, Penguin, and Chimera.

The first picture appears in the first few minutes of the game; the rest are earned as players progress at their own pace. Event Pictures are always placed in the game gallery in the same order, numbered from 1 to 20, regardless of when they were earned. After Anya interacts with different characters a certain amount of times, one of the pictures is unlocked, and the player can view it and its respective cutscene at any time in the gallery.
Note: Event Picture 2 is the last picture to appear after the player earns the other 19 pictures.
