The Desmond Family (デズモンド 家, Dezumondo-ke^?) is an Ostanian family and the target of Operation Strix.

They were formerly the First Family of Ostania when Donovan Desmond served as its prime minister during the second East-West war. This lasted until Donovan lost his position after his political party was deposed near the end of war.

Members

The family consists of:

• Donovan Desmond: The father of the family and leader of the National Unity Party.
• Melinda Desmond: The mother of the family and leader of the Lady Patriots Society.
• Demetrius Desmond: The elder son of the family who receives more attention from Donovan than Damian due to his achievements such as being an Imperial Scholar at Eden Academy.
• Damian Desmond: The younger son of the family who just started his first year at Eden Academy. He hopes to become an Imperial Scholar like his older brother to impress his father.

• The family's crest is a griffin as a symbol of honor, grace, and majesty.
• The family's business is the Desmond Group, which consists of 112 different companies as well as an additional 13 ghost companies that only exist as legal entities.
  • One month before Eden Academy's midterm exams, the Desmond Group bought out Glooman Pharmaceuticals.
• Donovan is the only Desmond whose first name, like the family surname, is of Irish origin, unlike the three other members whose names are of Greek origin.
