Mission 69 (
Summary[]
At SSS Headquarters, the Boss receives a report concerning the remnants of the extremist Red Circus group. There are unconfirmed reports that their leader, Billy Squire, is commanding a faction in Berlint.
Elsewhere, the students of Cecile Hall are on a school bus, heading to the Berlint Museum for a "cultural experience." As all the first-years are going, they are in four buses, with a car at the front and back of the caravan escorting them. While Anya and the other kids are excited about this, Damian is rather apathetic.
Bill challenges Damian in the bus
Students from Wald Hall are also on the bus, including Bill, who tells Damian there is value in all new experiences and that this is a new opportunity to make new friends. Damian refuses, stating that other classes all rivals, so Bill challenges him to see which class can correctly name more dinosaurs in the museum.
While they argue, Anya thinks about copying Loid's tricks to get closer to Damian, thinking about how Loid recently managed to improve his relationship with Gerald Gorey. She imagines her and Damian in a scenario similar as Loid, although done childishly. Carrying out her plan, Anya throws a crumpled piece of paper at Damian's head and gives him a "Call-Me-An-Uggo" face. However, an annoyed Damian responds by throwing it back at her face.
Damian tries to repay Anya with treats
Damian wonders if Anya is still mad that he did not repay her for the handkerchief yet and thinks about giving her the treats he bought for her. As he takes it out of his backpack, Ewen and Emile quickly spot it and ask for some. Too embarrassed to admit what they are for, Damian lets them eat the snacks. Sitting beside him, George holds out his hand to also recieve some snacks, but only gets Damian's anger. George complains that he shared his macarons with them back then, but Damian retorts that he did not get any. Becky asks if Anya brought any snacks, and she reveals two bags of peanuts, along with a piece of Bond's kibble. She then offers the kibble to Damian for free, and an irritated Damian threatens to throw her off the bus. Watching from the exchange, the Wald Hall kids think about how noisy the Cecile Hall kids are.
All the buses reach the museum, but two buses, including Anya's, drives past it, confusing the dorm tutor. At the end of the caravan, Mr. Green is told that the second and third buses have broken away. Anya's bus makes a stop, and Billy Squire and a woman board inside. Before the dorm tutor can tell them to leave, he gets tasered by Billy and is left unconscious, scaring the kids. The bus continues to move while Billy has the tutor tied up and radios in the other bus, asking for a status report.
Billy Squire and the Red Circus hijack the school bus
After Billy confirms with Bruce that the other bus was hijacked without any problems, he is informed by the driver that a car is behind them, driven by Mr. Green. Billy tells the driver to let them get close, then walks to the rear exit of the bus. He opens the door and shoots at the pursuers with a shotgun rifle, hitting a front tire and causing Mr. Green to crash into a tree. One of the students screams out in fear, but Billy points his gun at her to shut her up. Billy then greets the students and introduces himself and his group as the Red Circus. He tells them to do what they say if they want to live, and the children watch in shock and fear.
