Summary[]
Loid takes Henry's scandal article to Franky, who also believes it might be genuine upon examining it. However, Loid points out the "Ag" symbol on the image, which he was unable to find at the location in the photo, and suspects it may be a signature of the forger. Hearing this, Franky directs Loid to a new forger known as Silver Halide, prompting Loid to investigate.
Meanwhile, as Martha drives Henry to the Ministry, she tells him about Becky's tearful reaction to his abrupt resignation. However, she also leaves Henry to think on it as she says it is on-brand for him to be inconsiderate of other people's feelings.
Anya tells her friends that the ghost is fake
Back at the old schoolhouse, Becky runs away in fear of the apparent ghost before her. Anya hears the mind of the one controlling it and informs her friends that it is not real. The ghost's puppeteer is Matron Persil, Cline Hall's dorm advisor, who has gained her skills from many years of doing laundry. The "ghost" she used to scare the children away was an Imperial Scholar's robe fitted with reflectors to resemble eyes. After tying up Becky, Persil targets Anya, but Damian quickly takes Anya's net and performs his "Rolling Sweep," tangling Persil's rope and stopping her.
After defeating her, the children head to the art room, where they discover that the one leading the teachers is Murdoch Swan, who is currently meeting with a parent in a deal to have their son admitted to Eden. The children overhear his group's plot to replace Henry with one of their members on the admissions committee, allowing them to make a fortune selling admissions when the next school year begins. Swan also explains to Henry's framer that he was able to open Henry's safe using the key from his father, the previous headmaster, and was aided by a bribed security guard.
Anya takes the admissions deal from Murdoch
As Swan and the framer discuss their next step of their scheme, the children burst in and confront the teachers for their crimes, though Anya is unable to follow along. Damian and Becky vow to expose Swan, but Swan casts doubt by insisting the scandal is real and showing them the altered photo. Internally, he reveals that he hired a forger for the image and notes that the envelope near the children contains the documents from the recent admissions deal. Thinking quickly, Anya snatches the envelope with her net, which the others recognize as evidence against him.
Donna vows to punish Swan and his allies with Tonitruses
Swan demands the envelope back and offers to give the students as many Stella Stars as they want in exchange for it. While Damian and Becky firmly reject his offer, they are shocked when Anya nearly accepts, forcing them to flee. Swan quickly summons more allies, and the children are surrounded.
Suddenly, the parent from the admissions deal is blasted into the crowd by a Tonitrus Bolt, and Donna Schlag appears with Rahden. Damian fears she is allied with Swan, but Donna surprises the children as she instructs them to stand back as while she punishes Swan and his co-conspirators, declaring she will strike them all with Bolts.
