Mission 125 (
Summary[]
As Anya prepares to pursue the teacher who framed Henry, Becky pulls her back to head to class, and the man disappears before Anya can follow. Later, Cecile Hall is dismissed early, and a farewell party for Henry is announced at a hotel. Anya tells her friends she will not attend because she intends to catch the culprit. When asked how she knows someone framed Henry, Anya claims she saw the teacher acting suspiciously, which Connie supports.
The kids agree to return to the old schoolhouse to save Henry
The two decide to return to the old schoolhouse to look for clues. Damian and his friends doubt the claim, but Bill arrives and says his group found an unusual pile of papers near one of the entrances during their previous visit. Although his class was not dismissed, Bill insists on going, saying one Tonitrus Bolt is worth saving Henry. A group forms to investigate the schoolhouse, consisting of Anya, Becky, Connie, Damian, Emile, Ewen, George, and Bill. As the kids take off, they are spotted by Donna Schlag and Rahden.
Bill holds Mr. Armstrong back from Anya
Inside the old schoolhouse, the children are immediately stopped by Mr. Armstrong, the rugby club advisor, who orders them to leave. When Anya reads his mind, she hears him note that tightening security was the right decision, then recognize the group as the students who visited last time and as Henry's class. Assuming this means he is connected to Henry's framer, Anya becomes suspicious. Bill tries to talk their way through, but when Armstrong refuses, Anya quickly runs past him. Armstrong tries to grab her, but Bill restrains him long enough for the others to move ahead.
"Formation E: Pawn Storm"
The kids run to the third floor, where they first encountered the culprit. Damian, convinced that something suspicious is going on, becomes determined to uncover the truth hidden in the schoolhouse. On the staircase leading to the floor, they run into the chess club advisor and the nation's champion grandmaster, Gambitz. Ewen and Emile try to confront him with their joint technique "Formation E: Pawn Storm," but he predicts their movements and trips them with chess pieces. They eventually rush him and pin him down, allowing the others to advance.
The kids find a "ghost" flying in the old schoolhouse
On the third floor, the kids meet Dr. Benzene from the Chemistry department. He releases a fragrant gas that begins putting them to sleep, with George falling first. Becky is unaffected because the scent resembles her perfumes at home, so Connie gives her garlic cloves to wake two people, as well as a wire. Becky wakes Anya and Damian, then uses the wire to restrain Benzene while Connie stays behind to delay him.
On the fourth floor, Anya, Becky, and Damian continue searching for the culprit. As they head to search the fine arts room first, they run into a floating figure in an Imperial Scholar's cape, frightening Becky and Damian.
