Summary[]
At SSS headquarters, Yuri, Chloe, and the Lieutenant are busy at work while interrogating a recent wave of extremist prisoners, much to the former's exhaustion. The Boss approaches the trio and invites them out to have steak together to celebrate Yuri's fight with Twilight. Yuri declines, saying he has a date tonight, shocking Chloe, though the Lieutenant correctly guesses that it will be with Yor.
Yuri tries to buy a gift for Yor
Later in the evening, Yuri meets with Yor, excited to spend quality time with her since her "abduction" by the Forger family. After quickly catching up with each other on their lives, Yuri suggests they go shopping before dinner, so the Briar siblings go to the department store. Yuri insists on buying Yor a gift, assuming she is being forced to live a joyless existence thanks to Loid, though she denies this. Yor instead looks to get something for her family, wanting to get a new bedspread for Anya, new washroom towels, and a new toothbrush for Loid. Seeing how his sister's focus is only on the Forgers, Yuri rushes them to get dinner.
Yuri and Yor eat at a fancy restaurant
The siblings go to a pricey restaurant, and Yor is amazed at how grown-up Yuri is now to be able to get a reservation there. She decides not to get any alcoholic drinks and mentions her tendency to "get at it" with Loid while drunk, which shocks Yuri, who tells her to never drink again. While they eat, Yuri believes that Yor has been brainwashed into becoming a servant for the Forgers. When Yor denies his claims, Yuri asks her to name any pastimes she has, so she mentions her volleyball game with Melinda and the Lady Patriots Society and going drinking with her city hall co-workers. Yor also says that caring for Anya brings her joy, as it reminds her of when Yuri was little.
Yor tells Yuri she is no longer lonely
Yuri begins to protest Yor's words before stopping himself and recalling how she sacrificed her own happiness to take care of him when they were younger. Yor reprimands Yuri for wording it that way and responds that while things were hard at the time, she truly treasured the moments they had together, which is why she is able to work hard at her job now. She then tells Yuri about how lonely she was when he first got his job and moved away; Yuri assumes she got married because she was lonely, but Yor clarifies that those feelings are in the past now that she is surrounded by so many people and can see how accomplished he has become. Yuri begs Yor to keep looking after him as he is still lonely, and his continuous outbursts cause him to get kicked out of the restaurant.

As the siblings walk down the street together, Yuri proposes that he and Yor return to Nielsberg, wanting to return to their past home. However, Yor tells him the city is a wonderful place and says she has work to do there. Yuri agrees and apologizes for suggesting the idea. He then hurries Yor home before the trains stop running, but not before giving her a gift he bought for her at the department store, which Yor thanks him for. After the siblings part ways, Yuri sees a stand selling spice cakes and purchases many, reminded of the past when he and Yor could only buy one.
Yuri thinks about his secrets
Upon reaching his apartment, Yuri sits down and eats the snacks while reminiscing about his and Yor's time together. While Yor returns home and shows Loid the new bedspreads for Anya that Yuri gifted her, Yuri thinks about how he grew up wanting to see his sister's smile every day but now feels lonely and distant from her. He blames the Forgers for this but cannot ignore that he is keeping many secrets from Yor. Yuri suddenly gets a call from the Lieutenant, who invites him to go bar hopping with their fellow officers. Despite the Boss already being gone, he mentions that there are others, including Chloe, who want to see him. Yuri smiles and accepts the offer, preparing to meet with them at their usual place.
