Mission 112 (
Summary[]
Part 1[]
A new day has started, and so has Anya's first day of her new term at Eden Academy. While trying to get her to wake up, Loid mentions Becky and Damian, the latter reminding Anya of her new goal to learn if Donovan Desmond also has telepathic powers, only to lazily dismiss it. Fed up with her laziness, Loid drags Anya out of bed. Anya tries to come up with new reasons to avoid going to school and complains that her neck hurts, which Loid explains is a crick from sleeping on it. She then claims that she caught a cold, but Loid easily sees through her lie. However, after Yor takes Anya's excuse seriously, Loid also becomes concerned for Anya's well-being if she does not want to go to school. Embarrassed by her parents' seriousness, Anya decides to go to school after all.

Anya and Damian end up together in Class F for Language Studies
At Eden, Anya is greeted by Becky. She then sees Damian with his friends and asks him about his father. However, after learning from Damian's thoughts that he has not seen his father since their dinner, Anya deems him useless and ends the conversation, deciding to resume her goal of becoming an Imperial Scholar to meet with Donovan. Anya runs into two girls from her class, who introduce themselves as Meg and Connie after she fails to remember them. Becky talks about how they will all be placed in new classes by ability, which causes Anya to panic as she realizes she will be all alone now because of her other failed tests. Furthermore, she fears she will be separated from Damian, which endangers Plan B. Becky assures Anya that they will still be in the same class for the subjects without tests, then head over to the boards to see their new class assignments. To Anya's relief, she finds herself in Class F for Language Studies with an annoyed Damian, who is also there because of his low grades in the subject.

Arnold tells Anya and Connie about Tertius
Moving on to her Science class, Anya walks into a room with unfamiliar faces. However, she is joined by Connie, who politely greets her as a fellow Class 3 student. When another classmate shoves Connie while horsing around, she internally curses him in her thoughts, which surprises Anya. Anya is then approached by Arnold Crowley, the boy who asked her to dance with him at the end-of-term party. Anya does not remember him as well, which causes a shocked Arnold to question her intelligence. Anya replies that they are on the same level of intelligence if they are in the same class, which an even more shocked Arnold accepts as the truth. The kids look over to a popular boy surrounded by girls: Tertius from Specter Hall. Arnold explains that Tertius is a prince from Septevia, a small northern country, and how it is common for foreign dignitaries to study abroad at Eden.

Anya reveals a shocking truth about Tertius's "mole"
Anya suddenly hears the dark thoughts of a delinquent-looking boy. To her shock, he reveals that the "mole" on Tertius's face is actually his booger that he accidentally threw on him. The boy worries that he will be killed if the booger is traced back to him, but after realizing that no one has noticed it yet, he decides to remove it himself. He approaches Tertius and tries to remove the booger from his face under the pretense of removing gunk on him, but the prince swiftly dodges his attempt. Tertius asks the boy to stop, though internally, he fearfully wonders if he is getting bullied. Anya watches in astonishment as the misunderstanding escalates, with Tertius choosing to show strength to save face for his nation, while the boy worries about damaging Ostania's reputation.
Part 2[]
As the class watches the boys face off, some students wonder if they can be stopped. After hearing the thoughts and whispers of her classmates believing that she can handle their current predicament, Anya confidently struts forward to intervene, hoping that she can make more friends from this and gain more connections for Loid.

Anya attempts to stop the boys' from fighting
Anya approaches the boys and tells them to stop. They both brush her off, but Anya whispers to the delinquent that she has come to help end the "war over his snot," much to his surprise about her knowledge and relief for her assistance. After giving the boy a reassuring nod, Anya quickly reaches for the booger on Tertius's face but quickly stops herself as she realizes she does not want to touch another kid's snot. Meanwhile, Tertius is terrified by Anya's attack as he mistakenly believes rumors that she is an impartial and violent beast, which embarrasses Anya as she hears his thoughts. Outnumbered, he attempts to use chivalry to charm Anya from attacking him and hands her a flower. However, it only gives Anya the idea to use it as a tool to remove the snot, causing her to let out a devilish grin.
Tertius is even more scared upon seeing Anya's grin and believes he will be killed. He flashes back to his memories of training to fight with his steward in Septevia, which Anya sees. The memories invigorate Tertius's will to fight confidently and face Anya as she charges at him with the flower. He tries to dodge her, but Anya, having read his memories, exploits his habit of dodging to the right. However, she stops once again and drops the flower, but this time due to being hurt by the crick in her neck. The flower hits Tertius's face, and the booger falls off as he places his hand over his injury. The delinquent quickly spots the booger and catches it, then swaps it for a leaf which he claims was the gunk he was trying to remove from Tertius.

Anya makes new friends
The teacher arrives shortly after and tells the students to take their seats. Tertius apologizes to the delinquent for the misunderstanding, which the boy brushes off before thanking Anya for helping him. Tertius also thanks Anya and claims that he may reward her with one of his country's legendary jewels, but Anya knows he is lying and advises him against it. The prince is shocked by Anya's words and he begins misinterpreting the reason for her seeing through his facade and not exposing it. Utterly impressed by the apparent selflessness of Anya, and by extent the children of Ostania, Tertius begins feeling glad for coming to Eden, believing there will be much for him to learn. A little later, after class, Becky greets Anya and asks how her class was, only to see her between Tertius, who offers Anya another flower and requests to visit her home, and the delinquent, who happily introduces himself as Freddy from Hamilton Hall. While Anya smugly smiles to herself for securing world peace, Becky gasps as she assumes that her friend scored these boys during class, and Damian looks on in shock.

Trivia[]
- It is revealed that Emile has a younger sister.
- On page 14 of the English edition of Part 1 of this chapter, Tertius mentions the name Jeeves in his thoughts. However, in non-English editions of the chapter, he is actually mentioning his steward. In Japanese, the word is "jiiya" (じいや), which can mean "retainer" or "manservant," and is typically used for addressing older men in such a position.
- The English edition of Part 2 corrected this to Tertius mentioning his steward.
