Summary[]
Anya remembers Plan C
The Forger family arrive at Berlint's Annual Winter Sheep Festival. However, Loid has only taken the family there as a pretext; he explains that the event is organized by the Lady Patriots Society, so he hopes for a chance meeting with Melinda Desmond to advance Plan C of Operation Strix. Anya is shocked to learn about her father's plan and strives to become friends with Damian and learn his family secrets first so she can beat Yor in their Friendship Scheme battle.
Damian, Ewen, Emile, and their butlers arrive
Meanwhile, Damian, Emile, and Ewen are also at the event with their butlers. While his friends are excited about the festival, Damian is completely bored, but he quickly changes his tune when Jeeves mentions that his mother might be around. The group then runs into the Forgers, and the boys exchange retorts with Anya as they ask what she is doing here. Anya tries to play up her and Damian's friendship in front of Loid, so she pretends to return a leaf to Damian and claims he lent it to her. However, her scheme fails when the boys quickly reject her. Loid steps forward and apologizes to Jeeves about the orientation incident, then exchanges gestures with each other. Plotting to connect with the butlers of the boys' families, Loid is quick to observe Damian's relationship with Melinda and Jeeves and begins calculating Plan B and C in his thoughts.
Loid meets Becky's parents
The group is then approached by the Blackbell family and Martha. While Anya and Becky catch up and agree to see the festival together, Loid exchanges greetings with Becky's father, Byron, and plans to establish a close relationship with the Blackbells. Bill Watkins and his father arrive next, and he chats with Damian and Anya. Loid observes Bill's father, Wesley, and plots to one day get closer to him to learn more about military movements. George Glooman and his father, Denis, appear shortly after, but Loid fails to see any valuable intel from the Gloomans. As people from Eden Academy recognize the famous students and their families, a crowd quickly gathers around them. Families surround Anya and praise her as the hero of the bus hijacking, and Loid is amazed by the astounding amount of potential connections and intel he could get from them. As the parents reminisce on their fright during the hijacking, he takes the opportunity to invite them to visit him at the hospital if they are suffering from any trauma from the incident.
Damian challenges Anya and Becky in a game of ring toss
Denis asks Jeeves if Damian's parents are present at the festival, hoping to thank Donovan for saving his company. However, Jeeves informs the man that he is only Damian's attendant and is unaware of his father's schedule. Listening to their conversation, Loid believes that Jeeves would never share Donovan's schedule with Denis, even if he did know. Other families share their gratitude to the Desmond family, and Jeeves tells them that he will convey their respects. Bill comments that Anya and Damian's families are popular, but Damian is annoyed at being put in the same group as commoners. Emile sees a game of ring toss and tells Damian they should show them who is on top. Damian agrees and challenges the girls to the game, telling them that whoever loses will have to leave the festival grounds. Despite Jeeves's orders for Damian to stop, Anya and Becky accept the challenge. Bill and George also want to participate, though the former's father commands him to win with lots of intensity, even telling Bill to drop out of Eden if he fails. Becky asks Yor for tips on playing ring toss (much to her father's shock) and yells at Loid to watch her play. Meanwhile, Ewen and Emile see Yor and are surprised by how pretty she is. As this all happens, Loid, who initially planned to engineer the game into a tie, ends up finding the entire situation tiresome.
As the children play the ring toss game, their parents and guardians look on with content faces. Jeeves is happy to see Damian being himself with kids other than Ewen and Emile, while Becky's mother is grateful to Anya for helping Becky have more fun at school. Loid sees that Anya has surpassed his expectations in forming strong connections at school and thinks about how it could help in his mission. However, his scheming thoughts are cut short by the words of Jeeves, who hopes that the children will be unbounded by their parents' reputations and find their own happiness. Hearing this and the words of other joyful parents, Loid looks at Anya and begins to feel guilt for his actions. Damian ends up winning the game, meaning that Anya and Becky must leave. Anya tears up at the thought of Plan B being over, and Damian is taken aback by her crying face. He decides to let her stay but says he does not want to see her. However, Jeeves changes the rules to have the school group stick together. Seeing Anya beam at this development, Loid pats her head, seeing that it works out for them both.
A hall of clairvoyants
Becky sees a hall of clairvoyants with fortune tellers and asks Anya if she wants to go in to meet a clairvoyant. When Anya asks what that is, Becky says they can tell if people are compatible with their lovers while sneakily giving a teasing look at Damian, who is eavesdropping on their conversation. Jeeves and the men decide to relax at a beer garden in the meantime, and Yor offers to look after the kids so Loid can go with the men. Damian and the other boys refuse to get their fortunes told, leaving Yor, Martha, Becky, and Anya to go into the tent.
Yor has another surprise reunion with Melinda
Inside the hall, the girls see an advertisement for Lunaluna☽Selena, a rookie fortune teller who does not charge for her fortunes and is also inaccurate with her predictions. Yor and Anya decide to save some money for snacks and pick Selena, and so they split up with Becky and Martha. Inside Selena's tent, no one appears to be inside, but upon hearing guests, the masked fortune teller hurries into the room behind the curtain. She wobbles around before falling over, but Yor catches her. Selena apologizes for her clumsiness and says she is sleep-deprived, but she quickly removes her mask upon recognizing Yor. Behind the mask is Melinda, and she and Yor are surprised to see each other. On the other hand, Anya is shocked by the progression of her mother's Friendship Scheme.
