The Blackbell Family (ブラックベル家, Burakkuberu-ke?) is an Ostanian family that is known for its company, Blackbell Heavy Industries (also known as the Blackbell Company), which is a major military manufacturer in Ostania.
History[]
The Blackbells are a well-established family among Ostania's elites. With their business, Blackbell Heavy Industries, they have primarily worked in Ostania's military industry over the past few decades, supplying their army with artillery during the first East-West war[1], and presumably, the second as well. As a result, the family appears to hold significant influence, with the Blackbell being a well-known family by the public and Becky Blackbell being able to reserve an entire department for herself and her friend Anya Forger so they could go shopping together.[2]

Although the Blackbells employ numerous household staff, Martha Marriott, a trusted long-term employee, stands out as uniquely close to the family. She mainly serves as Becky's attendant and has looked after the girl since her birth[3]. She also appears to be close to Byron Blackbell, often scolding his childish actions, particularly during matters concerning Becky.

- All of the known members of the Blackbell family wear a distinct bomb symbol on their person. This can be seen with Byron's lapel pin, Becky's regular hairclip, and Mrs. Blackbell's earrings.
