Berlint in Love (バーリント・ラブ, Bārinto Rabu?) is a soap opera series in the SPY x FAMILY world. It is Becky Blackbell's favorite TV show.
Overview[]
Berlint in Love is an ongoing soap opera series that airs in Ostania. The show takes place in the capital city of Berlint and follows the story of Vincent and Sonia, a young couple in love. However, Vincent has a fiancée in Westalis who was arranged for him by his family, and he appears to have womanizing tendencies. Other members of the cast also deal with their own romantic issues. The show's theme song is "Hearts of East and West." The show is quite popular in Ostania, as even first-graders know about it.
Plot[]
In Chapter 25 and Episode 17, Becky tells Anya how watching a scene of Vincent hugging a girl gave her the chills.
In Chapter 34 and Episode 23, Anya remembers Becky telling her a scene where Vincent's fiancée ran into his childhood girlfriend, which ignited drama between the two, and she relates this to Yor and Fiona's conflict.
In Chapter 41 and Episode 28, during Yuri's surveillance of Franklin Perkin, he observes that Franklin watches the show and appears to be infatuated with Sonia. In the episode Franklin watches, Vincent and Sonia get into a lovers' quarrel.
In Chapter 57 and Episode 35, Becky brags in class about getting her father to arrange a meeting with one of the actresses from Berlint in Love, Rachel, at a large party during her midterm break. During the party, Rachel gave Becky presents and shared backstage gossip about the show.

In Chapter 59 and Episode 36, Sonia approaches Vincent and confesses her love for him. However, he refuses her advances because he has a fiancée waiting for him out West. Sonia tells him his family arranged the marriage and declares to make him forget about her before passionately making out with him. Vincent exclaims that he cannot breathe before continuing to make out. In another episode, a character named Jonathan states that "even a married man yearns for the companionship of a woman." Another character named Tommy always says he gets driven wild when girls tie and untie their hair. Tommy was also once tricked by a girl named Penelope, who pretended to be drunk and collapsed onto him, which is a trick that, according to Becky, no man on Berlint in Love can resist.
In Chapter 60, a radio program plays the show's theme song.
In Short Mission 14, Rachel stars in the latest romance film, Kiss Distance. As she is a fan of Rachel, Becky watches the movie with Anya, Yor, and Martha.
